Battery Safety
Fisacon
The large lithium-ion batteries of water toys, e-bikes, scooters and other equipment can be a safety concern on board. While the brands we sell only use premium batteries with the highest safety standards, a battery which was dropped or damaged can pose a fire risk, especially during charging.
The certified Fisacon boxes are specifically designed for the safe storage and charging of lithium-ion batteries. Should a thermal runaway occur, the fire will be fully contained in the explosion proof box. The boxes are equipped with their own extinguishing and cooling system, and some types can be connected to the yacht’s alarm and monitoring system.
Filters ensure that the poisenous gases which occur during a thermal runaway stay inside the box.
Every yacht should have at least one Square box for batteries which are in any way suspicious, because they may have been dropped, damaged, got wet or are showing unusual characteristics. More and more yachts start to provide Fisacon boxes for all batteries, and regularly store and charge them inside these boxes to prevent any potential fire risk.
The boxes come in different sizes, from the smallest one for E-bike or Scooter batteries, to the largest one which can fit a complete Seabob and is rated for a battery capacity of 5.25kWh. Extend your swim platform or beach club with the inflatable platform from Yachtbeach. It does not only add space, it also makes the handling of watertoys a lot easier and prevents damages.
The many options include docks for jetskis, efoils or Seabobs, as well as pools and loungers. Large inflatable slides and climbing walls convert your yacht into a water fun park. Everything can be customized, from size to colour, to create the perfect platform for your watersports activities.

Torqeedo engines have become more popular for tenders on smaller yachts. They are easy to handle, avoid the need for petrol and are plenty strong enough for small RIBs.
We are the largest Torqeedo Service Partner in Northern Germany and can maintain and repair any low voltage system.
